Public Works is the foundation of any city. They are responsible for the construction, maintenance and repair of city-owned infrastructure and facilities. Under the supervision of Public Works Director, Mike Ragland, employees operate a fleet of dump trucks, brush/limb trucks, loaders, and tractors.
Debris Removal
The City provides our citizens with free debris removal of house hold items (couch, carpet, mattress, and etc.…), leaves, limbs and any yard debris. The debris truck runs a set route through Fultondale, every street every other week. If you have any questions feel free to contact City Hall at (205) 841-0786.
Roadways
Within the city limits of Fultondale, the Fultondale Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance of all public roadways that are not maintained by Jefferson County or the Alabama Department of Transportation. Any roadway issues on City maintained roads such as potholes, missing or damaged signs, and drainage pipe obstructions please contact City Hall at (205) 841-4481.
