The 13th-annual Fultondale Mayor’s Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast will be Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at the senior citizens center at Black Creek Park. Coffee and biscuits will be served from 8 to 9 a.m. Dr. Greg Hill will be the guest speaker and Judy McGuirk will be singing.
• City hall will be closed Thursday and Friday for the holiday. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and if you travel, please be safe.
• If anyone would like to make a donation to the Christmas for Kids Program, you can come by city hall or mail a donation to P.O. Box 699, Fultondale, AL 35068.
• The next Fultondale City Council meeting will be Monday at 11:30 a.m.
• I would like to send special get well wishes to Mr. Lynn Fuller and Bobby Bittle, both of whom in the hospital last week with heart problems. Both are doing much better; please remember them in your prayers.
• Happy Birthday to Nicole (Maze) Wilson and her daughter Kayleigh Maze on Nov. 26. I hope they have a great birthday.
• Please remember our elderly this time of year. This can be a depressing time of year for many, so please make a special effort to talk to those that are shut in or sick.
• Also, please remember our military in your prayers. They are away from their families to protect our country.
