Variety of meetings to be held next week
Here’s a rundown of a host of meetings held next week in north Jefferson County:
• Tuesday, the Fultondale Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a breakfast meeting at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Fultondale from 7:30 to 9 a.m. For more information, contact Teresa Vise at Visemedical@bellsouth.net.
• Tuesday night, Relay for Life will host an organizational meeting at the Gardendale Parks and Recreation office, located next to the Moncrief Kiddie Park, at 6 p.m. Relay for Life will be held May 7, 2010 at the Kenneth A. Clemons Athletic Complex.
• Thursday night, the North Jefferson Business League will sponsor a seminar on small business growth from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Gardendale Civic Center. Featured speakers include Mike Holmes of Chick-fil-A, Faith Harper of RealtySouth and Dr. Jim Fox of Gardendale Chiropractic. The cost is $10 to attend. • Also on Thursday night, the North Jefferson Republican Club will meet at Jim ‘N Nick’s in Gardendale at 6 p.m. Jefferson County Commission candidate Jim Gunter and gubernatorial candidate Dr. Robert Bentley are scheduled to appear.
