VFW Picnic
Sept. 12, 12 p.m. The North Jefferson VFW Post No. 10250 in Fultondale will host a free picnic at Black Creek in Fultondale for VFW members and those eligible to join, along with their families. To be eligible, veterans must have served overseas during a war. There will be food, music and activities for kids. To learn more, call 841-7732.
Council Meetings
Fultondale City Council meets the second Monday of the month at 6 p.m. and fourth Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Fultondale City Hall. Meetings are open to the public. Call 841-4481.
Mother’s Day Out
