The Fultondale City Council passed a resolution to approve the city's 2012 sales tax holiday for August 3-5, during their regular meeting Monday night.
The council also passed a resolution to open a bank account for the Fultondale Bark Park with Iberia Bank.
A resolution to approve a change order that totaled $2,983 for the new fire station was approved unanimously, and the council also voted to seek assistance for counseling services in preparation for an ISO rating for the fire department.
